The creative team at Ogilvy & BP wanted to capture an intimate story of US Olympic team hopefuls as they journey from training to competition. A kind of “portrait of the moment” of these special athlete’s drive and energy. What makes them keep going? What drives them to be best in the world?

The agency and brand turned to Picture Farm and director Christopher Anderson to find and translate the narrative into film and print. Shot on location in Houston, Mr. Anderson, along with PF producers Johnny Fego & Candice Hoeflinger, DP Byron Shah and the PF production team brought together freestyle swimmer Nathan Adrian, Paralympic swimmers Melissa Stockwell and Brad Snyder, T54 athlete Tatyana McFadden, sprinter Sanya Richards-Ross, T11/f11 athlete Lex Gillette and archer Matt Stutzman, telling their incredible stories through photos, motion and interview.
